An absolutely excellent, running and driving Chassis, refurbished, and virtually Ready for bodying.

118XJ is a British built Rolls-Royce Phantom II Chassis, delivered in February 1930 to ist first owner, J.W. Young-Smith of New Brunswick, Canada, who also enjoyed an address in London’s fashionable Park Lane. It was then fitted with Enclosed Limousine de Ville coachwork by Park Ward & Co., was London registered GC 2348 and is Illustrated in Dalton Watsons´s Standard work „Coachwork on Rolls-Royce“

This Long Chassis model was acquired and prepared many years ago by Frank Cooke in the USA as a running Chassis for Display at R-R.O.C. Seminars, and offered for far less than the cost of rebuilding to this Standard would cost.

It is offered with front wing stays and is complete with ancillaries, Firewall and Dashboard with a complete Instrument set. It is furnished with Lucas Headlamps and the original Jacking System. A perspex Hood and Perspex floorboards are fitted to enable all mechanical components to be easily viewed.

The Chassis sits on 21″ wheels and is equipped with a Mitchel Overdrive System. It Comes with several copies of the original Factory Order and Build Sheets and Park Ward Coachbuilder’s notes.
